Mariah Da Silveira

Doctor of Acupuncture

As a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Mariah is dedicated to lifelong learning, research, and clinical excellence. Her practice is guided by an evidence-informed approach, with a particular focus on hormonal health, fertility care, and mental wellbeing.

Mariah is deeply committed to supporting fertility and reproductive health. With specialized training in fertility acupuncture and experience within Acupuncture Collective’s Fertility Support Program, she supports patients through every stage of the fertility journey: from preparing the body for conception to supporting those undergoing fertility treatments, nurturing a healthy pregnancy, and restoring balance postpartum. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families feel cared for on their path to parenthood and beyond.

She believes in the beauty of aging naturally. With training in cosmetic acupuncture from Dr. Yvonne Cheng, she incorporates facial acupuncture, gua sha, and cupping to enhance patients’ natural features while supporting healthy, glowing skin.

Her clinical practice also includes orthopaedic acupuncture and motor point needling, helping patients find lasting relief from acute and chronic pain related to injury, tension, or overuse. Committed to trauma-informed care, she recognizes the profound connection between chronic pain and stored emotional stress. Her treatments integrate gentle yet effective techniques designed to release tension and restore harmony between body and mind.

Each treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to the individual and may incorporate a variety of modalities, including acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, electroacupuncture, fire cupping, tui na massage, moxibustion, and the therapeutic wisdom of Chinese herbal medicine and dietary therapy.

Alongside her clinical practice, Mariah serves as a Teaching and Clinic Assistant at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) in Calgary, Alberta, where she mentors students in safe needling technique, point location, and clinical practice. Across all of her professional roles, she is committed to fostering an environment of professionalism, trust, and compassionate care.

She looks forward to welcoming you to a modern acupuncture experience at Acupuncture Collective.
