Roisin Larock

Doctor of AcupuncturE

My name is Roisin and I'm a graduate of the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. My approach combines Traditional Chinese Medicine with an interest in breathwork and nervous system regulation. My treatments involve creating a safe space where you can share what is happening with your body and in turn I share that information back to you, interpreted from the Chinese Medicine perspective.

A session with me will involve: chatting about what brought you into the clinic, checking your pulse, taking a look at your tongue, asking some follow-up questions, discussing what kind of treatment we're going to be doing, walking you through the different sensation you may feel, and then letting you relax while the acupuncture does its magic! I always aim to create treatments that are thoughtful, individualized and grounded in each patient’s goals and send everyone away feeling better than when they come in.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find me hiking or snowboarding in the mountains, running, cross-country skiing, or biking around Calgary. Music and the arts have also always been a big part of my life: I grew up playing piano and studying visual arts, and I still love performing at open mic nights. When I’m slowing things down, I’m usually reading a book and continuing to learn more about my love of Chinese Medicine.
