A lifelong interest in martial arts and human biology studies at university gave Neil a desire to work in healthcare. After completing his undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, Neil moved to Canada. Working outdoors in tree planting and agriculture caused back strain that Acupuncture treatment was able to alleviate. These treatments introduced Neil to the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine and his path into healthcare became clear.
Neil's TCM studies began at CITCM school in Calgary in 2015. Following graduation, Neil travelled to China to observe TCM in practice at Mianyang TCM Hospital, where Traditional Chinese Medicine is integrated with Western Medicine. After the internship, Neil traveled to Wudang mountains to study short Tai Qi and Qi Gong forms. Neil uses Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Cupping and Channel Palpation to offer patients individualized treatments, and work together with patients to improve their Health and Wellness through preventative medicine.
